This mango is named after the Nawab of Banaganapalli, and mainly cultivated in and around Banaganapalli, in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, with additional cultivation in Telangana.
Significantly larger than Alphonso, it has a pleasant aroma, fibre-free sweet yellow pulp, and thin blemish-free skin.
No artificial ripeners used.
